Sunday, March 13, 2010 - Last Saturday was opening weekend for Hunter's tball team. Boy did those boys have a great time! Friday night we got together and decorated the truck for the Parade. The boys played and got to know each other while the moms and dads did the work.

Saturday morning we all got up early and headed to Coach Brad's house. Here's Hunter in full uniform ready to tackle t-ball for the first time in his short life:

The boys piled into the truck and got ready to ride in the parade. The moms provided breakfast for the boys, whistles and noise makers and authentic Braves face paint!

Here's a few shots of the parade! Hunter had a great time and was excited Daddy got to ride with him!

After the parade was over, the team had to go line up on a field with the other 81 teams for Opening Ceremonies. Our boys were great. It was a long time just waiting for all the teams to arrive. These boys were ready to get the show on the road!!

Wow!! You all should have seen our boys go!! They were amazing! All of the parents were THRILLED watching them play as a team.

Hunter at bat - got on base every time! So proud of how well he did considering it was his first time to play! Last inning of the game, Hunter was playing second base and the ball popped up and hit him in the nose! He was a trooper and didn't cry even though his nose was bleeding! What a TOUGH Brave!!

They managed to get 5 outs. What a great game! Brave's Win!!! Last picture is Coach Brad telling them how awesome they played! We're looking forward to a great season! Go Braves!!

(I have to thank Joyce our team mom for letting me steal some of the pictures from her blog! She did a great job capturing the day for those of us who had to chase two year olds around!)
