Saturday November 28th, 2009 - This past Tuesday, Sampson had their Storybook Character parade. Hunter decided he wanted to be Max from the book "Where the Wild Things Are". So Mike and I put our heads together and came up with a 'costume' for Hunter as Max. He wore a white hoodie zipped up with the hood on to represent Max's footed pajamas (I couldn't find white sweatpants ANYWHERE!) We attached black pipe cleaners to the hood around Hunter's face as the whiskers. His crown is gold poster board with foam ears stapled on the inside. And then we found a multicolored boa to attach to the hoodie as Max's tail. Mike put the whole thing together and it came out AWESOME!!
Here are few pictures from the event. When I get the video off the camcorder, I will post a small bit of it because the whole thing was really long and it was Kindergarten through 2nd grade.
This is Hunter's good friend Cameron Y. He was ObiWan from Star Wars.
