This was an advertisement that Two Pesos (a Mexican restaurant) purchased for our senior yearbook. I was on journalism staff, and the typical M.O. of a company back then was to just buy the ad, but not say what they wanted, not provide any artwork, and not even have any approval before going to print. Yeah…great way to do business. So the journalism teacher asked me to create this Mexican guy. Can you imagine the shit I’d be in if this were published in a high school newspaper today? Political Cowardice has gotten so out of control that even though the dude is advertising Mexican food, and some Mexicans wear sombreros, I’m sure someone would find this “offensive”. So if you fall in that category, don’t look.
