When in high school, there was some form we had to fill out, listing our three heroes and why they were heroes to us. Apparently, the top few choices would be in a magazine article. I was chosen. I think my heroes were Walt Disney, my Dad, and Michael Stipe (that one was a joke for Maury). They needed to take a picture of me for the article. they said they wanted to superimpose me leaning around Walt Disney “showing him” one of my drawings. I don’t know why we chose the drawing that we did. I have it listed in this post, and as I say in the post, I have no idea why or when this drawing was done. If anyone knows, reply in the comments.
I would post the actual text that the author wrote, but it is both disinteresting, and also somewhat of a lie. It was written as a quote from me, yet we had to fill out a form with like 3 words that explained why they were our heroes, so I don’t know how making a sentence out of that is ethical or journalism. But whatever, it was 20 years ago. Anyway…look how much hair I had!
