I haven’t had much of a problem with Windows 7. But there is one little thing that has always bothered me. The unfortunate thing is after each beta install, I forget what I did to fix it, so I’m going to write it down now.
When printing on both sides (I like to save paper), after upgrading to Windows 7 my HP LaserJet 4250 seems to have forgotten that it has a duplexer. It only allows duplexing manually even though the printer does, in fact, have a duplexer.

It’s not THAT big of a deal, I can just re-feed the paper and print on the back side. But why should I have to? It should do it by itself. So here’s how I fixed it:
Open “Devices and Printers”

Right click on the printer to set up, and select “Printer Properties” (NOT “Properties”).

Set the “Duplex Unit” to “Installed”

And all should be well again.
